The Asian Development Bank (ADB) Collection was established in AIT Library in response to increase public interest in ADB's activities of multilateral development institutions and to allow for wider dissemination of information. The ADB collection consists of books, selected country and economic studies, technical papers, annual reports, statistical publications, documents on loans and technical assistance projects, environmental impact assessments, and public information materials.

The collection is housed on the second floor arranged according to the Library of Congress Classification Number. The materials in this collection are identified by "ADB Coll." above the call number.

Note: About ADB (Asian Development Bank)

The Asian Development Bank Institution (ADBI) is a multilateral development finance institution owned by 63 members, 45 from Asia and the Pacific and 18 from other parts of the globe. The overarching goal of ADB is to reduce poverty

To achieve this, ADBI supports activities in its developing member countries to promote pro-poor economic growth, inclusive social development, and good governance. Under its Long-Term Strategic Framework (2001-2015), ADBI takes into account in its activities three crosscutting themes: private sector development, regional cooperation, and environmental sustainability.
